Be warned that this is not exactly what it seems – you do not get satellite TV for free. Free Satellite TV is essentially an introductory offer for customers subscribing to a satellite television provider. Most commonly they provide you with up to six satellite television receivers and perhaps three or six months of free service and even credit on your first bill depending on the monthly offers. This means that you will be able to watch up to six different satellite channels on six different TV’s around your house. In the long term, you will have to pay more for each individual satellite receiver, but if you are going to have more than one anyway, then this is represents your cheapest option. However, signing up for these services often requires going through a dealer rather than straight through the company. The offers are currently available with the satellite providers Dish Network and DirecTV and have a choice of dealers to buy from.

Often you are able to choose the channels that you want to watch, which although might result in a more limited choice also means that you’re not paying for hundreds of channels of which you have no interest in. As the offers are continually changing, it is irrelevant to discuss the merits and drawbacks of each one here; this should be something for your own research as a potential customer.
