Moroccan Lantern Blue Glass Candle Holder Candleholder
The cobalt hues of this exotic metal candle lantern bring to mind images of mysterious Morocco! Suitable for hanging or use as a freestanding lamp. For use with tealights or votive candles only (not included). Metal and glass. 4 1/2" x 3 3/4" x 8 1/4" high.
This lantern looks more expensive than it is. Sure, it's not made of the finest materials or constructed as solidly as something you'd buy in a boutique, but you'd only notice this if you examined it closely. For its size, depth of color, and design, it's a real bargain. **This review was written when the price of the item was under $5.**
These colored-glass Moroccan lanterns are quite pretty and very reasonably priced at $6 to $7. We have four of them hanging from hooks in the ceiling of our living room -- the same hooks we use to hang ornaments from at Christmastime. The glass panels have attractive raised-designs on them, and there is a little hinged door that opens to receive the candle. The lanterns are only half-a-foot tall, so they're not for filling the room with light, but just for ambiance.

The Kvarner region geographically extends into
Istria and consists of a coastal area and islands along with
the mountainous part region. The Kvarner region is characterized by its special climate to which it owes over 150
years of tradition for elite and health tourism. Places like
Opatija,
Lovran and
Pula will satisfy even the most demanding
guests with their luxurious style, while the city of carnivals
- Rijeka and nearby places guarantee a good time all year round.
Tourism in the Kvarner region is active all year-round and everyone is invited to participate in the
local manifestations, so come and be a part of the carnival parade, pick asparagus, go fishing or enjoy the magic of
wellness. All of the above are reasons to come again and again. |
Green Glass Moroccan Lantern
A halo of emerald green casts a serene glow, as intricate cutouts cast a net of starlight into the tranquil dark. An enchanting play of shadow and motion! Metal and glass. Candle not included. 4 1/2 inches x 3 3/4 inches x 10 1/4 inches high.
These lanterns are made from cheap, die-stamped metal. Some of them aren't folded into exactly the right shape during assembly, resulting in loose glass panels, crooked pieces, and doors that stick or won't latch properly. Most of the problems can be fixed by gently bending the problem sections of metal by hand. For this one, I had to use jeweler's pliers to work on bottom and top of the door panels until I could get the the door to open and close without having to use force. While I was at it, I also gently bent in by hand the tabs that hold the glass panels in place to make sure they were all secure. In all, a less than 5 minute job to fix everything. Considering how little I paid for the lantern in the first place, I found it a trivial fix for a cheap and cute lantern that the local shops are charging nearly 3 times the amount I paid here. |
Gifts & Decor Iron Glass Magic Rainbow Candle Holder Hanging Lantern
Candlelight glows through this lantern’s multi-colored panels, turning ordinary light into a kaleidoscope display. A blaze of festive color that enlivens any evening. Weight 0.7-pound. Iron and glass. Tealight not included. 4-1/2-inch by 3 3/4-inch by 10-1/4-inch high.
Very cute little lantern. i havent put a light in it yet but i know it will look good with the flameless multi colored tea light.
the only thing i found that i didnt like is it isnt exactly like the picture. i was under the impression that each piece of glass was lightly tinted the color. but each piece it actually kind of dark. if you have looked at the other lanterns then you will see that the solid color ones have that very strong color. its the same thing with this one but with a different color in each.
I got an Amazon gift card for the holidays and I'd had my eyes on this lantern for awhile. So, I immediately bought it. So glad I did! I love this thing! Of course, I agree with that previous reviewer that the door is a bit flimsy. Of course, as long as you don't pull excessively on it, it'll be fine. It looks great with a tealight candle in it and I can't wait to hang it in my room! |
