Budapest has many shopping malls, including the largest shopping mall in Central Europe, the WestEnd City Center. These soulless malls, like everywhere else in the world, combine brand name shops with entertainment facilities. Due to a lack of space, most malls are located outside the City Center.
WestEnd City Center Budapest
The WestEnd City Center is a shopping centre built by Hungarian TriGránit Ltd. located next to the Western Railway Station, in Budapest, Hungary. Opened on 12 November 1999, it is known for having been the largest mall in Central Europe until larger ones were inaugurated, including Arena Plaza, also in Pest.

Arena Plaza Budapest
Arena Plaza (Aréna Plaza) is the largest shopping plaza in Budapest at a size of 200,000 sqm. On November 15, 2007, Arena Plaza opened at the site of an old horse racing track.
The project was developed by Plaza Centers Group, a shopping center developer in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE). Plaza Centers Group credits itself as the first developer to bring Western-style shopping centers to Hungary
Built on a former horse race track, Arena Plaza has a nice ice-skating rink, open during winter.

Mall Mammut Budapest
After sightseeing in the nearby Budapest Castle District, pop in Mammut to do some shopping or have snacks in one of its cafés or restaurants on the upper floors.
Mammut offers both big-brand and smaller shops.
For high-tech electronic gadgets visit Saturn on the underground level.
The market at the back end of the mall sells fresh fruits, vegetables. The best place to munch some snacks, like lángos or pancakes.

Mall Allee Center Budapest
Allee shopping center has become a very popular mall since its opening in Budapest a few years ago. It is located by the last stop of tram number 4 and it has filled a shopping center void among citizens in this area on the Buda side. On busy days it can be hard to find free parking lots inside the mall, also influenced by the positive fact that the mall offer two hours of free parking to all their guest on weekdays and free parking during weekends.
