Where to go on a trip?
National Park Krka
Sibenik countryside has many small nice places you can visit in one day, but we definitely recommend a trip to the National Park Krka.
You can tour through the Park on the water, road or on foot. Don't miss visiting Skradinski Buk, large and beautiful waterfall that shows the strength of nature, and Roški slap situated in its vicinity as well as the convent on the islet Visovac.
National Park Kornati
According to a legend, after creating the world, God through the rest of the rocks in the sea and concluded that they don't need to be improved. Taking a trip to Kornati will give you an opportunity to see this natural phenomenon which binds the relaxing blueness of the sea and the sharp whitness of karst. If you are a diver, local guides can give you good advice on the best diving localities.
“Little Croatian Rome” is surrounded with 5 National Parks: Paklenica, Kornati, Plitvice
Lakes, Krka waterfalls and North Velebit. An hour or two by car or by boat from Zadar or other towns in the region takes you to
all National Parks.
Zadar is a place where people are friendly, you can have a glass of typical Zadar liquor Maraskin or talk about basketball because this sport made Zadar
famous. Zadar is a town of rich cultural heritage; already in 1396 it had its university founded by the Dominicans in St. Dominic convent.
Sibenik is a town which successfully combines famous history and natural beauties

Nature has given Sibenik, a town mentioned by kings, many islands and islets bathed in the
blue of the sea and a fascinating landscape of National Park Krka. Sibenik is a town of tradition, beautiful nature and
hospitability where you will always have something to do. Recently renovated hotels offer pleasant accommodation, and
company is easy to find in restaurants, taverns or discotheques and cafes. If you wish for a change, visit the
Krka Waterfalls and Franciscan convent situated on the islet of Visovac. You can feel the power of nature watching the
roaming waters of Skradinski buk, largest waterfall crushing in a whirl of foam.
Welcome to Primosten, a beautiful and irresistible small town between Sibenik and Split. Primosten was built on an islet which is connected with
the land with a bridge, and it has developed itself into a well-known summer resort which has something for everybody.
You will surely become delighted with its long pebble beach and wild high rocks,
which precipitate to the sea, as well as with the walking paths around old city walls.
