Kalalau Valley Hawaii
The Kalalau Valley is located on the northwest side of the island of Kauai in the state of Hawaii. The valley is located in the Na Pali Coast State Park and houses the beautiful Kalalau Beach. The Na Pali Coast is very rugged and is inaccessible to automobiles. The only legal ways to access the valley are by kayak or by hiking the Kalalau Trail.
The valley is renowned for its natural beauty; it is surrounded by lush cliffs more than 2,000 feet (610 m) high. The valley bottom is broad and relatively flat, with an accessible region about 2 miles (3.2 km) long and 0.5 miles (0.80 km) wide. The abundant sun and rain provides an ideal environment for flora and fauna. Many native Hawaiians lived in the valley into the 20th century, farming taro from a vast complex of terraced fields. Today, its designation as a state park forbids anyone from residing there.

Nubra Valley Ladakh Jammu Kashmir
Nubra is a tri-armed valley located to the north east of Ladakh valley. Diskit the capital of Nubra is about 150 km north from Leh town, the capital of Ladakh district, India. Local scholars say that its original name was Ldumra (the valley of flowers). The Shyok River meets the Nubra or Siachan River to form a large valley that separates the Ladakh and Karakoram Ranges. The Shyok river is a tributary of the Indus river. The average altitude of the valley is about 10,000 ft. i.e. 3048 metres above the sea level. The common way to access this valley is to travel over the Khardung La pass from Leh town. Foreign nationals are required to get a Protected area permit to visit the Nubra Valley. Since 1st May 2014 Indian citizens are no longer required to get an Inner Line Permit to visit the valley.
Lotshental Valley, Switzerland
The Lotschental is the largest valley on the northern side of the Rhone valley in the canton of Valais in Switzerland. It lies in the Bernese Alps, with the Lonza river running down the length of the valley from its source within the Langgletscher.
The Lotschental is now a popular destination for hiking and winter sports. In November 2003, the new gondola lift of the Hockenhorngrat was opened, and Lauchernalp and Fischbiel now contain 1500 beds for rent, five restaurants and one hotel. The lift system supports a varied ski terrain with a vertical drop of 1000m or more in a good winter and 33 km of ski runs.

Yosemite Valley, California, USA
Yosemite Valley is a glacial valley in Yosemite National Park in the western Sierra Nevada mountains of Northern California. The valley is about 8 miles (13 km) long and up to a mile deep, surrounded by high granite summits such as Half Dome and El Capitan, and densely forested with pines. The valley is drained by the Merced River and a multitude of streams and waterfalls including Tenaya, Illilouette, Yosemite and Bridalveil Creeks. Yosemite Falls is the highest waterfall in North America, and is a big attraction especially in the spring when the water flow is at its peak. The valley is renowned for its natural beauty, and is widely regarded as the centerpiece of Yosemite National Park, attracting visitors from around the world.

Srinagar, Kashmir Valley, India
Kashmir valley is a valley located between the Karakoram and the Pir Panjal Range in the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir. It is around 135 km long and 32 km wide, formed by the Jhelum River. Kashmir Valley is one of the three administrative divisions in Jammu and Kashmir state other being Jammu and Ladakh and consists of Anantnag, Baramulla, Budgam, Bandipore, Ganderbal, Kupwara, Kulgam, Pulwama, Shopian and Srinagar districts.
According to the Vedic Knowledge, the Kashmir valley was a vast lake called Satisaras, named after Sati or Parvati the consort of Shiva. The lake was then drained by the leader of Nagas, Ananta, (Anantnag region of Kashmir is named after him) and was named Kash-mira after his father, the Rishi Kashyapa. The Mughal emperor Jahangir, called it "Paradise on Earth."
Kashmir valley is a popular tourist destination for domestic and foreign tourists. Among the popular tourist places in the valley are Gulmarg that has a ski resort, Dal Lake that has popular house boats, Pahalgam and the major Hindu shrine Amarnath Temple.

Waipi'o Valley is a valley located in the Hamakua District of the Big Island of Hawai'i. "Waipi'o" means "curved water" in the Hawaiian language.
A foot trail called Waimanu or Muliwai Trail leads down a steep path to the Waimanu Valley, which is not accessible by automobile. At upper end of the valley, Waimanu Gap at 2,089 feet (637 m) elevation leads to the south end of Waimanu Valley.
The valley was the site of the final scene in the 1995 sci-fi film Waterworld, at which the main characters found dry land

Napa County is a county located north of San Pablo Bay in the northern portion of the U.S. state of California.

The Slovene name for the valley is of relatively recent coinage and is derived from the Logar farm, which in turn is derived from Log (literally, 'swampy meadow'). Monument Valley is officially a large area that includes much of the area surrounding Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park, a Navajo Nation equivalent to a national park. Oljato, for example, is also within the area designated as Monument Valley. Visitors may pay an access fee and drive through the park on a 17-mile (27 km) dirt road (a 2-3 hour trip). Parts of Monument Valley, such as Mystery Valley and Hunts Mesa, are accessible only by guided tour.

Waimangu Volcanic Valley, Rotorua
Waimangu Volcanic Rift Valley is the hydrothermal system created on 10 June 1886 by the volcanic eruption of Mount Tarawera, on the North Island of New Zealand. It encompasses Lake Rotomahana, the former site of the Pink and White Terraces, as well as the location of the Waimangu Geyser, which was active from 1900 to 1904.
